Gary Norman
Gary is an expatriated Virginian
living in Upstate New York. He is the proprietor
of a small antiquarian book shop called Gatehouse Books.
He is married with children (Galina - 11 and
Roman - 10). In October 2000, his family gave up
television, except for old movies on video, and
rediscovered reading.Though
he has not reached the levels of the halcyon days
immediatly following college when he read 70-100
books a year, Gary's goal is to read at least one
book a week.
Gary's wife, Stacia, once
told him that he never seemed to read anything
published in the past century. While that may
once have been true, he has expanded his horizons
a bit. To that end, he has begun keeping track of
publication dates for the titles read, shown
parenthetically following the title.
