A club for people who keep a BookList!

A BookList is a numbered series of book titles that serves as a record of all the books that a club member read during a calendar year.

BookList Guidelines

Any book counts - Fiction or nonfiction, hardcover or paperback, light or technical, humorous or educational. Short story collections are acceptable. Most magazines, monthlies, quarterlies and journals don't count. Some annuals and anthologies are okay. Ask yourself honestly, is it a book?

Read completely through - You should finish reading a book before listing it. No partially-read books should be included.

List a book in the year it is completed - Some books take more than a year to complete - that's fine! A book should be listed in the year in which it is completed.

Re-reads are included - Some books are so good that you must read them again! If you read a book twice in the same year, indicate it like this: (read twice). If the book is re-read from another year, try to list the year, like this: (re-read from 1995).
